| services at Didling a message from the churchwarden Worship at Didling generally conforms to the following pattern each month: In British Summer Time: Services at Didling follow the long established traditions for Matins, Eucharist and Evensong as set out in the Book of Common Prayer. The emphasis is on simplicity, peace and tradition. Services are always candlelit and it is a rare privilege to worship at a church so ancient and simple. During the summer evenings sheep can be heard throughout the service and during winter the Christmas Day Eucharist is particularly popular. All are welcome to join us at Didling for Matins, Eucharist or Evensong services. We invite baptised members of all trinitarian Christian churches to take communion. If you do not take communion you are invited to participate in the service by approaching the altar to receive a blessing. If any of the terminology I've used above seems exclusive
or alien to you please don't let it put you off. Our services are intended
to be open to all who want to share in the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ,
the love of God and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit. Use the contact
details below if you wish to find out more. |
